Eveline Gravely, lovingly known as Mama E, is the mother of our owner, Carl Gravely, and proudly serves as the Vice President of Gravely Family Bakery.
Mama E grew up watching her own mother, Granny Dorothy, prepare everything from scratch in the family kitchen. One of Granny Dorothy’s most beloved desserts was her signature Banana Pudding, made the traditional way with care, patience, and love. Those early memories shaped Mama E’s passion for homemade desserts and inspired the way she creates recipes today.
Just like her mother before her, Mama E believes that baking should always be done with love, dedication, and the old-fashioned touch that makes homemade desserts truly special.
One of her most cherished creations is her famous Peanut Butter Delights, a no-bake treat she has been making since Carl was a child. These rich, nostalgic sweets have become a favorite among family and friends.
Mama E also brings us a refreshing summer favorite: Almost Heaven Cake. This delightful dessert begins with our bakery’s signature Yellow Cake, layered with crushed pineapple, a cream cheese–vanilla pudding filling, and finished with a light whipped topping. The result is a cool, refreshing dessert that truly lives up to its name — a mouthwatering treat perfect for the summer heat.
